"I didn’t know him directly all I know is I can remember the first day I called Zappos to buy some shoes, isn’t that wild? Why would you ever remember that. I was blown away and not only did I become a loyal customer after that but I started telling all my friends about the very unusual happy experience I had. It was that unusual. They were friendly , it felt like old school shopping when people still had the time to talk to you and we had a laugh . I believe it’s a big deal, every human kindness is a big deal. I have no idea how he managed to create a business were people are nice and helpful and at such a large scale, the man was a genius. RIP."
