"Didn't know Sy had passed until today. I started with HC on 34th and Madison in 1988. Place was busy and had to wait sometimes for hours, but worth it. Marina was the best stylist I ever had and always got a "thumbs up" from Sy when I passed his office. Marina always did the 'spike' cut for me. Got to speak with him once or twice in his office. Amy Sperling measured my first unit in 1988. I would leave the building after my appointment and walk the NY streets so proud of my hair. It looked fantastic! Totally undetectable. My sincere condolences to Sy's family. Rest in peace Sy, a great guy!!"
