BERLIN (AP) — Soren Kam, a former SS officer wanted for war crimes in his native Denmark, has died in Germany. He was 93.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center counted Kam among its top targets for the killing of an anti-Nazi newspaper editor in Copenhagen in 1943.
The center's top Nazi hunter, Efraim Zuroff, told The Associated Press Tuesday that Kam had been "totally unrepentant" for his actions.
