"Kitty was an amazing woman, and she was a major inspiration in my life from the moment I met her 40 years ago. I ever knew anyone like, and her intelligence, persistence, and commitment were palpable to anyone who met her. I was so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Kitty on the Silkwood case, and look back at those times as the most important in shaping my lifelong commitment to the environment and social justice.
