"I grew up across the street from Mr. (Colonel) Carr, and I remember him very fondly as a man who always had a smile on his face, and a man who was very kind-natured and friendly to us kids. My parents, as well, thought very highly of him. He was another one of `the good guys`, another American Hero, who has left us to join the ranks in Heaven. We will see you again, one day."

We are blessed with a beautiful and loving family. My condolences and prayers to the family of Gerald Carr,he changed my life and made all my dreams come true."
