Hollywood is mourning the death of arguably the greatest dancer in the history of cinema, Gene Kelly. The legendary hoofer and star of more than 40 films died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Beverly Hills on 2 February. He was 83.
His third wife, Patricia, was at his side. Kelly had been in remarkably good health until suffering a severe stroke in July 1994.
