WASHINGTON (AP) — Bill Schweitzer, a lawyer for the American League and Major League Baseball for more than two decades, died Tuesday. He was 70.
Schweitzer's death was announced by BakerHostetler, the law firm he had worked for since 1973. He was managing partner of the firm's Washington office from 1993-09. No cause of death was given.
