"Am sitting here right now listening to him sing in that soothing voice with Doris Day being shown on tv tonight. So loved him and grateful I grew up in his era!!"

"Perry gave us "Magic Moments" in our life time. He was a legend, an entertainer, a barber, a singer, and a genuine human being. He was "Wanted" by all. "It's Impossible" to begin to say how much Mr. C. touched so many people around the world. "Hot Diggity Dog Diggity," I'm so glad I admired watching him, hearing him, being a singer like him, and born from the same state as he, the State of Pennsylvania (like him, I was born just outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. in Oakland, and my grandmother and aunt are from Canonsburg, Pa.). Every time I went "Home For The Holidays" I was happiest to be back on home ground once again with my family members. Like he did, I retired in Florida and will be buried along with my wife in Florida just as he and his wife was. How lucky heaven is to have you there as we were to have you with us in our lifetime. "Rest In Peace, and hope one day we will meet and share our life's experiences in Pittsburgh, as singers, and in Florida."

"There was no better person than "Mr. C." Like him I was born outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. in Oakland near the University of Pittsburgh, am a singer like he was, my grandmother and aunt are from Canonsburg, Pa., and was my idol and sang all his songs all my life. When I was a boy through adulthood, my parents played all his songs, and I sang along with him on the record player, with the cassette playing, the CD, and now on the computer. His influence for me to major in music in college as he did, will always be my lifelong ambition thanks to him. His life's journey, family, and places he went to present his Christmas Shows, I not only enjoyed watching and hearing him and his guests perform, but learned so much about the place and history where he performed and his musical career speaks for itself. He is and will always be irreplaceable. Thank God wherever his presence was, whether in person, on television, or anywhere in the world, he made an impression with everyone and was a true genuine human being. How I wish I had met him, sang a duet with him, and became a lifelong friend, but just knowing he existed on this earth just enough for me to say "what a wonderful man, human being, and entertainer." Believe it or not, we had many things in common, we were both singers, were born outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. (at a different year and month), my grandfather was born on May 13, 5 days before his birthday, my wife was born on the 18th, the exit off the highway where my wife and I reside in Florida is Exit 18 and enjoying retirement there, and my wife's wedding march down the aisle in church was the song he recorded, "Love Is A Christmas Rose." We were blessed to have him and make us forget our troubles and for just a brief moment what was going on in the world around us. "Rest In Peace Perry, you are and will surely be missed!"
On this Valentine's Day, I say to Perry and his family, "And I Love You So."
