"As a military man living overseas: I am very sorry to hear of your passing. You are the greatest! I hate to see your voice go away, but then again .....it won't. You will ALWAYS be remembered and loved fondly. Be sure to tell Ann we miss her!"

"The last time I saw Molly Ivins speaking was in the last six months, broadcast by C-Span2, where as usual, she was eloquently succinct, tickling a funny bone for me I'd forgotten I had. Only two years older than I now, she's gone. Creators Syndicate has no page set up for her fans to pay tribute, a fact I find reprehensible.
I have a friend much like Molly, that sly inexhaustible wit and so fast on the uptake you stand panting to catch up. I'm glad I do. She helps this vacuum Molly Ivins leaves.
