"Would like to contact the Tilman family reference a memorial stone for Pat on my golf course"

"I did not kow Pat, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one. Pat was an unselfish man. Foregoing a contract to earn extraodnary amounts of money, in order to serve his country should be more than enough to make his family and friends proud of the life he led. Not too many men or women in todays society would have choosen war over that kind of money. I am proud of him and I never knew him. I am also heart broken. Not only for the untimely death of such a young and amazing indiviual, but heart broken that this country that we live in would choose to try to cover up the details of his death. I am sure had his family been told the truth in the very begining they would have been no less proud of all he had accomplished in his very short life. The military could have used a few lessons on honestly and humility from Pat.
God Bless his parents, family and friends. Thank you for your sacrafice to our nation."
