West Lawn Memorial Park

West Lawn Memorial Park, founded in 1929, was established to provide the families of Mount Pleasant Township and Racine with quality service during their times of need. Our caring staff will help you to choose a peaceful final resting place for yourself or a loved one. West Lawn has many burial options including traditional ground burial, mausoleum crypts, lawn crypts, columbarium niches and a variety of other cremation choices. The Avenue of Flags flies four times a year, and we host an annual Memorial Day Service. West Lawn is a perpetual care cemetery, which means the beauty of the park will be maintained for years to come. Several small garden mausoleums are available on the grounds of West Lawn. A quaint wood-framed chapel with seating for up to 75 people is located between the garden mausoleums and the administration building, which also includes a reception area for guests. West Lawn's Garden of Devotion had its first interment in its opening year (more than 75 years ago) and has grown into the lovely park it is today. Two ponds with fountains and a carillon bell system are also featured within our grounds. The Chapel Mausoleum has both indoor and outdoor crypts available, as well as niches for those who choose cremation.
