Wisconsin Memorial Park

Founded in 1929, Wisconsin Memorial Park is easily one of the most beautiful, prestigious burial grounds in the state. Stunning maple, oak, ash, birch and pine trees grace its expansive grounds, and various types of wildlife frequent the park. Gracefully curving boulevards wind around sweeping lawns with blended shrubbery, giving the area a park-like appearance. Bronze memorials are set level with the lush green lawn. At Wisconsin Memorial Park, we proudly serve people of all faiths. Numerous programs throughout the year are held in the park, including Avenue of Flags, Good Friday Service, Memorial Day Services and the Holiday Program. Many burial options are available at Wisconsin Memorial Park including traditional ground burial, mausoleum crypts and lawn crypts, and numerous cremation alternatives. With a wide range of memorialization alternatives, we are able to offer choices at a price to fit any budget. Elegant fountains, imported statues and other artistic features can be found in our outdoor garden mausoleum and traditional ground burial areas. The Garden of the Apostles was the first garden crypt area in the state. It was developed in 1956 and includes four original bronze statues, each of which is 8 feet tall and weighs 2,000 pounds. The Garden of the Last Supper is placed inside an inviting garden and is the world's largest carving from a single block of solid marble. It provides the dignity of aboveground burial at a cost no greater than traditional ground burial. Striking architecture accents the Gardens of Eternal Life, an aboveground burial facility. It features two outdoor chapels, a series of gardens, and Liberty Court, where an exact replica of the Liberty Bell is located. For those who choose cremation, Wisconsin Memorial Park provides many options. Cremation niches are available in the Wisconsin Room and the Alcove of Remembrance, as well as in the Gardens of Eternal Life. These niches may be fronted with marble, wood, granite, stone or glass. Urn gardens are also located in the park. We invite you to visit us and learn more about what we offer. The Great Memorial Building One of the most well-known buildings at Wisconsin Memorial Park is the Great Memorial Building, a two-acre mansion-like facility that houses an indoor mausoleum, two chapels and an art collection appraised at over five million dollars. The state's largest collection of imported stained-glass windows is located in this impressive building. A spacious lounge and one of the Midwest's finest mausoleums, as well as the Freedom Rotunda and Heritage Hall, are also found here. In addition, the Great Memorial Building houses the inspirational Chapel of the Chimes, which comfortably seats over 200 guests, and the Little Chapel of the Flowers, designed to accommodate up to 50 guests. Both chapels are air-conditioned and available for either daytime or evening use. Visitors are invited to tour this magnificent structure, which is open daily. We have expanded the number of mausoleum spaces available in the Great Memorial Building so that more families can choose this prestigious location as their final resting place. The Family Center The Family Center at Wisconsin Memorial Park provides an alternative to graveside memorials. Its three chapels, two private conference rooms, four spacious community rooms, and kitchen offer an inviting environment when dealing with Wisconsin's frequently inclement weather. To allow privacy for our families, each chapel has its own entrance. These exclusive Family Center services are available to anyone who owns property at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
