To the Dee family:
Our heartfelt condolences go out to your entire family. As you know,
my parents and your parents were dear dear friends for many years.
Sadly, my mom, due to Alzheimer's is unable to give you her sympathies
herself so I'm doing so for her. She missed Anita terribly and she always spoke of how your parents went out of their way to take her to brunch every Sunday. I was privileged to know your parents and they were truly one of the most amazing couples I've ever had the fortune to know.
I know what a big loss this is for you all and want you to know that his memory, as will your mothers, stays with all of us forever.
Again, our sincerest sympathies.
With love,
Robert Sherr
( Anne and Irv's son )

So sorry. He was blessed with success, long life, and loving family.
I am grateful for his contributions to the world, especially for my Smarties.

The Dee family has my deepest condolences. Losing a loved one is so difficult. I love Smarties to this day. What a great loss and a legacy! May you find it consoling that the God that gives us "everlasting comfort and good hope" (2 Thess. 2:16) has Edward in His memory now and forever.

Although we never met Edward, we have admired him through our forty year friendship with Edward's son, Joel Dee. Through Joel we learned much about Edward and Anita's remarkable lives.

During the late 80s early 90s The galloping Hill cruisers a local car club in Union was graciously supplied cartons of Smarties to be passed out to spectators and children at car shows and parades. It was my honor to have a wonderful rapport with the company. Thank you mr. Dee
