The day you left this world caused the biggest blow for me because you are my favorite musician and you were taken too soon :( You have made countless memories in movies with your music and that will last a lifetime. You will always be an inspiration for me and this loss is going to be difficult for me to get over. Thank you very much for everything, Maestro. My prayers are with the friends and family of James Roy Horner (August 14, 1953- June 22, 2015)

James is the reason I play music. I am still young and growing up still but I live his music and as long as I live I want to be a composer like him. Even though I don't know James his music will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm always constantly listening to his music from Titanic and Avatar. When James Cameron said the orchestra loved him I believe it because I live him and I am in a schools orchestra in my third year.

Although I never knew James I always admired him and held him responsible for me wanting to play violin everyday. His music was as big as his heart. I will never forget his score for Titanic

I grew up listening to his music...chose Music composition because of his influence and think i am a better composer because I was indirectly taught by him. The first 'song' I fell in love with was his 'Somewhere out there' when i was a young boy. Kept following him ever since.

Sincere condolences from Malta
